After the Residential Event in Utrecht on September 10, where we celebrated the launch of AlphaLinX™ and the AlphaESS 4.5s and 9.3s batteries, AlphaESS set the tone with a new highlight. On September 17, our major C&I event took place in Eindhoven, where partners, installers, and energy experts gathered to accelerate the future of sustainable storage and collaboration.
Product Launch: AlphaESS STORION H30/50 G3 & TB125
The absolute highlight of the day was the introduction of two new C&I storage solutions. The STORION H30/50 G3 is a third-generation all-in-one hybrid system, ideal for SMEs, with a capacity of 30 kW (72.3/144.6 kWh) or 50 kW (up to 241 kWh). Thanks to its compact cabinet, pre-assembled configuration, and multiple safety layers, the system offers fast installation and a short payback period.
In addition, the STORION TB125 was presented: a pre-assembled liquid-cooled storage system of 125 kW/261 kWh. With active balancing, higher efficiency, and certified safety according to UL9540A, this system delivers reliability, longer lifespan, and faster return on investment. It is particularly suitable for manufacturing companies, commercial buildings, and public institutions.
Both systems underscore the vision of AlphaESS: flexible, safe, and future-proof solutions that help businesses thrive in a changing energy market.
Guest Insights: Eniris & EUPD
In addition to the AlphaESS keynotes, our partners Eniris and EUPD Research also briefly shared their insights. Eniris emphasized the role of smart EMS integration, while EUPD outlined the latest market developments. Their contributions provided valuable context, but the real highlight of the day came from the stories of our installers.
Installers Take the Stage
Alex – Smart peak shaving in Groningen
Alex, a dynamic company from Tynaarlo, shared a project at a manufacturing company in Leek. There, power consumption peaked in the morning above 160A, while the grid connection was limited to 3x80A.
The solution? Two AlphaESS H30 G2 units of 48 kWh each, installed in parallel and configured for peak shaving. Between 07:00 and 09:00, the batteries together deliver up to 60 kW, exactly when production is running at full speed. Outside these hours, the system operates in self-consumption mode and supports feed-in.
Alex spoke candidly about the challenges—such as an unexpected BMS power supply issue and a faulty kWh meter—and how these were quickly and professionally resolved. The project illustrates how technical flexibility and expertise come together.
Robin – European first at Nicoverken
Robin took us to Nicoverken in Schiedam, a family-owned company that maintains engines to keep ships operational. With increasing grid congestion and the threat of power outages, business continuity came under pressure.
The solution was a European first: the installation of two AlphaESS STORION TB125 systems (250 kW, 522 kWh) combined with an STS Cabinet. The system switches fully on- and off-grid within 20 milliseconds, with 35% additional power capacity. This ensures business operations remain protected, even during unexpected outages.
Robin emphasized a broader trend: the sustainable installer is increasingly developing into a central figure in business continuity and service.
Jan – De Groene Generatie and smart energy optimization
Jan from De Groene Generatie showed how versatile energy storage can be applied.
A car company with a dynamic energy contract was able to reduce its connection from 3x80A to 3x50A thanks to a 30 kW, 64 kWh installation with Eniris EMS. This resulted in lower fixed costs and the possibility to engage in dynamic trading in the future.
Larger-scale projects were also highlighted, such as a holiday park with structural peak demand problems. There, a 125 kW, 261 kWh system proved its worth. These examples show that AlphaESS solutions play a key role in the energy transition—both on a small and large scale.
Networking, Dialogue & Gala Dinner
In addition to the presentations, there were also interactive moments such as the installer discussion with De Groene Generatie, Hetta Energie, and Green Involvement, coffee breaks, and networking sessions. The event was festively concluded with the Alpha Gala Dinner, a moment of gratitude and connection.
Outlook
With this event in Eindhoven, AlphaESS confirms its strong presence in the Benelux and Europe. The launch of the STORION H30/50 G3 and TB125, together with valuable market insights and partnerships, reinforces our mission to deliver advanced storage solutions and local service. As the Netherlands accelerates the energy transition, AlphaESS remains a reliable partner helping to shape the future of sustainable energy storage.
