AlphaESS Successfully Delivers Suurmittakaavainen Energiavarastointi Järjestelmä to Lingen, Germany, Accelerating Its European Market Expansion

Lingen, Germany, December 2025 — AlphaESS, a global leader in Energiavarastointi ratkaisut and a BloombergNEF Tier 1 certified manufacturer for Q4 2025, announced the successful delivery of its Aster 5000 Suurmittakaavainen Energiavarastointi järjestelmä (ESS) to EPC partner Ecker for Stadtwerke Lingen, the municipal suurmittakaavainen company. The entire project was completed one month ahead of schedule, once again demonstrating AlphaESS’s strong manufacturing capability, high-speed batch delivery, and end-to-end project execution capacity.

Highly Integrated Design Enables Rapid Deployment for Both Energia Trading and Grid Frequency Regulation

Stadtwerke Lingen has been facing lisäysd volatility in the electricity market and rising demand for reserve capacity. The municipal suurmittakaavainen sought a simplified, highly integrated containerized ESS ratkaisu capable of Tukiing flexible energia trading while providing frequency regulation to stabilize the grid.

To meet these requirements, AlphaESS supplied the Aster 5000, a 5MWh liquid-cooled Energiavarastointi container. With its fully integrated 20-foot design, combining akku järjestelmä, BMS, EMS, and fire-protection järjestelmä in a single unit. The Aster 5000 significantly reduces onsite installation and commissioning time while enabling efficient large-scale deployment.

The järjestelmä incorporates multi-layer safety protection from cell level to järjestelmä level, including aerosol fire suppression, aerogel insulation, NFPA 68-compliant pressure relief, fire early warning and active protection, grid-side protection, and fault isolation. Each container undergoes a full factory acceptance test before shipment, a rigorous process rarely seen in the industry that ensures the highest delivery reliability. The platform also features cell-level bi-directional active balancing, which enhances performance and extends järjestelmä lifetime by more than 10%, ensuring long-term reliability for Suurmittakaavainen and large C&I applications.

Five Weeks to Germany, Two Weeks to Grid Connection: Industry-Leading Delivery Efficiency

The project arrived in Germany just five weeks after shipment and achieved grid connection within two weeks of arrival, completing the overall delivery one month ahead of schedule. Ecker highly praised the experience, emphasizing the järjestelmä’s punctuality, stability, compact integration, and AlphaESS’s rapid response capability.

This deployment marks AlphaESS's first utility-sector ESS project delivered to a municipal suurmittakaavainen in Germany.

The project once again validates AlphaESS’s excellence in global supply chain coordination, standardized manufacturing, and high-volume project execution.
